Electrochaea is commercializing a disruptive and scalable technology to convert stranded electric power into renewable natural gas for direct injection into the existing gas grid. We provide a commercially viable solution for utility-scale energy storage, carbon abatement, and grid stabilization. Technological feasibility of our process has been demonstrated in different settings, and we are currently pursuing a sequence of pilot projects for additional de-risking through incremental scale-up.
