Electrochaea appreciates the opportunity to comment on the proposed rule for RFS Standards for 2023-2025. At the US EPA public hearing, @Chris Wilson, our Renewable Energy Engineer, testified on behalf of Electrochaea in support of the adoption of a definition for “produced from renewable biomass”. We support a definition that allows RFS-eligible transportation fuels to contain either the mass or the energy of the renewable biomass from which the fuel is derived. This definition enables the further development of innovative fuels, such as Electrochaea´s BioCat Methane, that are needed to achieve a net-zero economy worldwide.
